Your Massage Therapist

Hi, my name is Angela Romine, and I am a graduate of Springfield, Missouri's Professional Massage Training Center's (PMTC) clinical massage therapist (CMT) program. I am pleased to offer the Springfield Regional area the ancient practice of massage therapy applied in the modern health services environment. As an Army Veteran, and a spouse of one, I was inspired to become a massage therapist by witnessing firsthand the effects that various physical ailments can have on one's life; mentally and physically. I want to assist in helping my clients manage and overcome ongoing musculoskeletal pain through multiple causes (either natural illness or injury).

Regarding the above, clients from all walks of life deal with a variety of discomforts and pains that include the muscular tension and headaches from daily stress, injuries/chronic pain (post-incident), and life-altering diseases (Multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's, etc.). I want to foster a team-based approach between myself and the client when conducting in-depth assessments of the physical epicenters of pain and discomfort throughout the musculoskeletal system to create goals in approaching temporary and ongoing treatment plans. I want this foundation in my work to improve every aspect of your life so that you can truly experience it to your fullest.
My continued studies in this special field of body work is an exciting journey to explore and promote the countless ways that the Ozarks community can benefit from massage treatments. I look forward to meeting you.

Janean Houston

My Name is Janean Houston and I am a graduate of Springfield Missouri’s Wellspring school of allied health massage therapy program. Natural health and wellness has been a long time passion of mine. As a certified personal trainer, nutrition specialist, and massage therapist, I firmly believe that the body has the ability to heal itself through a multitude of natural health modalities. The benefits of massage are not limited to relaxation and pain management, multiple studies have shown that massage enhances circulation, relieves stress thus lowering the fat storing hormone cortisol, speeds healing, improves mental alertness, boosts the immune system, improves lymphatic flow, and improves sleep quality.
The world is a stressful place, my goal as your therapist, is to facilitate a mental and emotional escape receiving the ultimate relaxation massage, giving your body the necessary pathway to experience all the benefits a swedish or deep tissue massage offers.
Everyone can benefit from massage, whether you are seeking massage to manage pain or just looking to pamper yourself. My wish is for my clients to experience the magical world that massage has to offer. I look forward to meeting you.

Naomi Phillips

Hi, my name is Naomi Phillips and I am an alumni of Wellspring School of Allied Health. I’m pleased to be joining the halo team, providing services to the Springfield area. I truly believe that rest and recovery are essential to living a full and healthy life, as massage has helped my family and myself to recover from the strain of physical daily activities. Massage to me is a way to make sure that we all get the care and attention that we need to stay healthy and active, regardless of our daily lives.

Stiffness, pain, and loss of range of motion are the first symptoms of muscles in need of repair or recuperation. Taxing work conditions paired with little time to recover can facilitate muscle usage patterns detrimental to overall function. Manual therapy allows the body to re-establish work distribution and muscular balance, and promote blood flow carrying nutrients and oxygen to tight muscles, thus reinstating functional regions of the body.

My goal as your therapist is to help you to restore your body’s natural distribution of workload, allowing you to fully recover, by working with you to assess and treat areas of concern. I win when my clients can better recognize and correct areas of concern before they become long standing issues. I’ll do my best to treat and educate my clients to live long, happy, and healthy lives. I look forward to meeting and working with you!
